Hello.

I’m Jonatan Kaján, and I live in Espoo, Finland. I have a bachelor’s degree in electronics and electrical engineering from Aalto University, and I’m working on my master’s in acoustics and audio technology.

I’m an Systems Specialist at Eficode where I work with system administration, monitoring, DevOps, and whatnot. I live in the terminal, but can use a GUI if I really have to. I write everything in Vim: if this is a good idea or not is debatable.

In my free time I dabble in music, selfhosting, and home automation. Web development also takes up some of my free time: this homepage, strange single serving websites, a digital song book, whatever I feel like at the moment really.

This site is a blog only in the most technical sense: I update it maybe once every two years or something. If you’re interested in what I’m working on at the moment, you’ll have to stalk me on GitLab or actually talk to me.
